Four Healthy Smoothies For Fall
With Fall rapidly approaching, it's easy to forget all of the wonderful cold drinks and switch to something hotter. While warm drinks are great, there are so many unique fall drinks that are cold and easy to make! We pulled together four of the most interesting drinks you can make this fall, while still embracing the chilly temperatures.
1. Apple Walnut Smoothie

This clensing smoothie will leave you (and your tummy) happy. Made with the perfect amount of apples, kale, and walnuts, you'll feel like you're drinking your dessert!
Ingredients:
1 Cup Kale
1 Medium Apple
1/2 Oz Walnuts
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/8 Tsp Allspice
1 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Ice
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into blender. Blend until smooth. *Make sure you take the core out of the apple!
2. Pumpkin Protein Smoothie

Wait, did you read that right? Pumpkin. Protein. Smoothie. Yes, you did! Have you ever thought of putting pumpkin in a smoothie? I know that I haven't. However, this is a perfect smoothie for Fall!
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Pumpkin Puree
1 Banana
1/4 Cup Greek Non Fat Yogurt
1/4 Cup Almond Milk
1 Tbsp Protein Powder
1 Tsp Honey
1 Tsp Chia Seeds
1/2 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 Cup Ice
Directions:
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Top with granola if you're feeling adenturous!
3. Cinnamon Sweet Potato Smoothie

If you're looking for a unique blend of flavors, this is the one for you. It tastes like sweet potato pie, and you'll be surprised at how healthy it is!
Ingredients:
1 Banana
1 Cup Sweet Potatoe Puree Cooked
1 1/2 Cups Almond Milk
2 Tbsp Almond Butter
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
1/2 Tsp Groud Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Ground Nutmeg
1/2 Tsp Ground Ginger
1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
1 Cup Ice
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in blender until smooth. *Tip: Add some kale if you're looking for some leafy greens!
4. Ginger Pear Smoothie

This sweet, zingy flavor will make you wish Fall never ended. Again, this smoothie will surprise that it's healthy!
Ingredients:
1 Cup Almond Milk
1/2 Cup Sliced Pear
1 Frozen Banana
1/2 Tsp Grated Ginger
1/4 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Ground Flax Seeds
Directions:
Blend all ingredients until smooth. *Tip: Again, adding kale will make this smoothie much better for you, and you won't taste it!
